Found 6Sitting on this bench down by the river ... The world is so much bigger than me. And it is at times like these when I can really appreciate it.

Sitting on this bench down by the river, I am free and one with my surroundings.

The subtle flow of the river and trees bearing post-autumn leaves make for perfect company in this ounce of time. A faint but refreshing dry autumn breeze accentuates a near-perfect scene. Contrary to my own forced belief, there is still beauty lingering in the world today.

Beauty of which can be tainted not by law, nor by any flaw of human nature pre-existing or impending.

My path has led me here, and it is here I wish to stay - just another figment within a peaceful frame of tranquil magnificence.

Just locked here until the end of time, growing older with Earth as my companion.

Anything from outside of my bubble would spoil this purity, perhaps to be recaptured on another day ...

Though never ... exactly ... like ...

This.

The air may be cooler, the leaves more dried, even my thoughts may be more intrusive. But it will never be like this again.

It is another of life's riddles. I am just fortunate enough to have been able to stumble upon this one and enjoy it just for myself.

As much as a scene like this could make me feel insignificant or even nonexistent, I strangely feel as if I have found a home if just for a fleeting moment.

This is what I live for - a place to belong without guilt, worry, or hidden meaning. Just an all-encompassing sense of calm makes me feel thankful for being alive.

And even more so for the soul to absorb it.

Until we meet again, my beautiful world.
